About

Gokul is an ex-ISRO scientist turned founder. He started his career at India's space agency designing and testing the power electronics that steer satellites once they're in orbit — work that's still flying on Indian communication satellites today. He built one of ISRO's first high-efficiency (90%) power modules, served on the review committee for India's satellite-launch missions, and managed three technology projects worth a combined USD 1.4M.

He holds B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay and a PhD from the National University of Singapore (ECE), where his DSO-funded research applied cloud-computing methods to radar. As President of the NUS Graduate Students' Society he grew the team from 16 to 75 and events from 8 to 60, earning the Students' Life Award for Leadership.

He co-founded an ad-tech startup through NUS GRIP and is now CEO of tactyle by QSignage — building DOOH ad-tech alongside a steady stream of web apps, native macOS utilities, hardware, and developer tools.
