Don't Have Internet Banking? Use PayTm
A practical financial hack from 2015: when banks are closed and you lack internet banking for IMPS, use PayTm's wallet — load it via debit/credit card and transfer to any bank account through IMPS. A workaround that was genuinely useful before UPI became ubiquitous.
Highlights
- The constraint — No internet banking. Bank is closed. Need to transfer money urgently.
- The workaround — Load PayTm wallet via card → transfer to bank account via IMPS. Works 24/7.
- Historical note — This was 2015. UPI launched in 2016 and made this entire workflow obsolete. An interesting time capsule.
