Dental Robotic Arm

A robotic-arm-integrated dental chair, for which Saveetha Dental College And Hospitals filed a patent. Dental chairs are the biggest investment for any dentist, and dentists typically need an assistant just to adjust lighting and focus — a problem made worse by contamination concerns, since gloved dentists can't reposition lights mid-procedure. This is a unique problem, specifically known to dentists. Our friend, Dr. Harini, was the one who exposed us (Sridhar and me) to this idea.
