HSI Camera
A low-cost Hyper Spectral Imaging camera aiming for 80% of commercial-grade performance at a fraction of the SGD 40,000 price of prism-based systems.
Hyper Spectral Imaging (HSI) is a method to capture an image beyond the visible spectrum. So each pixel has a spectral response from 300nm to 1100nm. Prism solutions cost ~SGD 40,000. Objective: design and deliver a low-cost, reliable and accurate HSI camera.
Targets
- 80% pixel spectral performance when compared to commercial-grade cameras
- Maximum of 10% cost of commercial devices
- Time of acquisition is <10sec
